Welcome to Pielyra! We (operating as Pielyra; hereinafter referred to as "Pielyra," "we," or "our") are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") outlines how we collect, use, share, and process your data, as well as the rights and choices you have regarding such data. This Policy applies when you visit websites linked to this Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Website" or "the Websites"), use our Pielyra mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the Application"), or otherwise use products or services owned or operated by us (collectively referred to as "the Services"). This Policy does not apply to personal data we collect from Pielyra employees, contractors, job applicants, owners, directors, or board members. For details, please refer to our Human Resources (HR) Privacy Policy.
Please read this Policy in its entirety to ensure you fully understand its contents. By accessing, browsing, or using the Services, you agree to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Policy and agree to the relevant terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms"). If you cannot accept any part of this Policy or do not agree to the Terms, please stop using the Services immediately. We may update this Policy at any time without prior notice; the updated Policy will apply to personal data we already hold about you as well as any additional personal data collected after the update. If we make changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this Policy. If changes to this Policy are deemed to materially affect how your personal data is processed or to limit your rights, we will provide advance notice via email, push notifications, or a prominent notice on the Website. Unless applicable law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise, your continued access to or use of the Services after receiving notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. Additionally, we may provide you with real-time information regarding personal data processing practices for specific parts of the Services. Such notices may supplement this Policy or offer you additional choices regarding how your personal data is processed. 1. Personal Data We Collect
Pielyra collects specific personal data about you and your use of our Services. The definition of "personal data" (a term used interchangeably with "personal information" for European residents) depends on the laws applicable in your location. Under this policy, only the definition applicable to your location applies to you. For the purposes of this policy, personal data does not include data that has been irreversibly anonymized or aggregated—meaning such data does not allow us to identify you, either on its own or in combination with other information.
Such information generally falls into two categories: (1) information you voluntarily provide to us, and (2) information we automatically collect from you.
Information you voluntarily provide to us. We, or the service providers assisting us in delivering, maintaining, and operating our services, may collect the following types of personal data:
(1) Account registration. When you use our services, we may collect information related to account creation, such as your email address, phone number, and/or a unique password. If you create an account using a third-party service (such as Apple, Facebook, or TikTok), we may receive personal data that you have authorized those services to share with us, such as your name and email address.
(2) Placing orders. When you place an order on our website or application (App), we may collect personal data such as your name, mailing address, postal code, email address, phone number, and payment account or credit card information. In certain regions, we may require passport information and tax identification numbers to facilitate customs clearance.
(3) Customer support. When you contact our customer support team, we may collect relevant records, copies of your communications (including email addresses), social media usernames, or other information you choose to share with us. (4) Newsletter subscriptions. If you wish to receive relevant content, you may provide us with your contact details, such as your email address and phone number.
